What does this mean?​
 

This means that the company and the production team members who are involved with Whimsical Productions must uphold to the following values when it comes to choosing our shows, casting and/or appointing production roles: 
 

• for upcoming shows: does it tackle racial issues in a way that would conflict with the company's above objective? How does the show tackle racial issues? Would it isolate or exclude any other backgrounds or races?

• when considering production/creative team members, all peoples, irregardless of background, race or colour must be fairly considered for all roles in any production produced by Whimsical Productions.

• unless a race and/or appearance is specifically indicated by the casting brief, all peoples, irregardless of background, race or colour must be fairly considered for all roles in any production produced by Whimsical Productions.

• if a casting brief indicates they need a person of a certain race and/or appearance, they must inform the Whimsical Productions' team the reason(s) for this choice and the team will evaluate whether the reason(s) is in line with the company's objectives
